NKF Affairs

This NKF thing has been quite an issue for the past week. I wonder did anyone else seen the video clip of Infernal Affairs which makes fun of the NKF. It's really funny. Gold tap from Italy, designer toilet bowl(really apt for Andy Lau though, he has a song titled Toilet Bowl). The scene with Leon Lai and Tony Leung was equally funny.

Putting this aside, it's sad thing for the patients though, somone misused the donations, and now probably no one is going to donate anymore. They get 10 cents from $1 donations, damn, how cheap can human lives be? It's only 10% of the donations they are getting. I wonder where did all the money from the donation cards went. I've one with me right now and I'm wondering whether I should hand in a blank card. I didn't follow everything, I just knew that something like this happened and have no clue about the details. (Yah, I'm your heck-care university student, on holiday now, so your typical apathetic citizen as well.) Wonder whether I should send in a note with the card saying, "Not for buying your Mercedes." But that will be plain mean probably. 12 months bonus, dude. Anyway, I don't think it will get through to NKF if the Sing Post check the damned thing.

There seems to be a lot of donation frauds this year. Earlier this year, two guys were detained in NUS. They were asking for donations from me too. Thank goodness, I don't have enough money on me that time, and shared with friends. $2 went bye bye. Can buy a MacDonald's Savoury Tempura Chicken or Cheeseburger though. And donated $10 for a Bistro restaurant card that I couldn't use, because I don't go down all the way to Beach Road. Just that the girl is very pushy and I'm in a hurry. I wonder is it going to her salary or the needy.

Last note, if you want something done your way, stfu, and do it yourself. If you couldn't do it and someone else doesn't meet your expectations, stfu.
